MEET DR. SIMONE
For more than 30 years, Dr. Robert Simone has dedicated his career to helping patients better understand and manage their allergies. Board certified in Allergy and Immunology, Dr. Simone brings decades of experience and a personalized approach to every patient he treats.
Dr. Simone grew up in New Jersey in an Italian family before eventually traveling to Guadalajara, Mexico, where he earned his medical degree. His time in Mexico became an important part of both his personal and professional life, and he speaks Spanish, allowing him to connect with and care for Spanish-speaking patients as well.
A Career in Allergy & Immunology
Throughout his career, Dr. Simone has cared for patients with a wide range of allergic and immune-related conditions, including seasonal allergies, environmental allergies, pet allergies, asthma, and other allergic conditions.
After more than three decades in practice, he understands that allergies don't affect everyone in the same way. Every patient has different symptoms, triggers, and needs. His approach is centered on identifying those individual needs and creating a treatment plan tailored to each patient.
One important treatment option offered through the practice is sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT), commonly known as allergy drops. This convenient, needle-free form of immunotherapy is designed to gradually reduce the body's sensitivity to specific allergens, including pollen, dust mites, pet dander, and mold.
Rather than simply managing symptoms when they occur, immunotherapy takes a long-term approach by helping the immune system become less sensitive to the allergens that trigger those symptoms.
More Than a Doctor
While medicine has been a major part of Dr. Simone's life, he also believes in getting to know the person behind the symptoms.
Outside of the office, Dr. Simone is a proud father of three children, grandfather to many grandchildren, and great-grandfather. His Italian roots and love of family are an important part of who he is, and his warm, personable nature has helped him build lasting relationships with generations of patients.
